Application
Process
- Students
will apply to the graduate school for admission
- Students
specifically applying for this program will submit a letter
stating their intention to apply for this program along with
the required Graduate Assistantship application to their respective
department.
- The selection
of the graduate student participants in this program will be
based on a review of the following credentials:
- A written essay about their interest in this program. This program
is intended for graduate students who have no experience
working in the K-12 environment.
- Undergraduate and graduate transcript reviews.
- Review of Graduate Record Examination scores
- A personal or telephone interview.
- A recommendation
for admission to the graduate program in the respective department
and the awarding of the GK-12 Fellowship will be forwarded to
the Dean of the Graduate School, who will act on the recommendation.
- Decisions
concerning the awarding of the Fellowships will be made by March
15 and letters to students will be mailed within one week of
that date.
