4-H Pullet Chain Program to Organize
The Hampton County Cooperative
Extension Service office will hold an orientation meeting of the 4-H Pullet
Chain program on Saturday, January 20, 2007, at 10 am in the B.T. Deloach County Office building in
The 4-H Pullet Chain program is open to all youth ages 9 to 19 residing in Hampton, Allendale, Barnwell, Bamberg and surrounding counties. Participants in the program will have an opportunity to receive and raise twenty-five day old pullet chicks until they are 24 weeks of age. A parent or legal guardian must attend the orientation meeting with their child. No baby chicks will be given out at this time.
