As Clemson University rises to meet its goal of being a top-20 research institution, the Eugene T. Moore School of Education also strives to obtain top status in its academic programs.
The School of Education offers 16 teacher education undergraduate programs leading to certification: early childhood, elementary, secondary, agricultural, and special education. A minor is offered in athletic leadership.
Master's programs are offered in literacy, teaching and learning, agricultural, and special education; in human resource development; in student affairs, community and school counseling; and in administration and supervision. An educational specialist degree is offered in administration and supervision. Doctoral programs are offered in curriculum and instruction, higher education leadership and P-12 educational leadership.
The School of Education offers two MAT programs designed for career changers, a Master of Arts in Teaching in middle level education and a Master of Arts in Teaching in secondary education mathematics and science.
