Profile

I'm an assistant professor in disciplinary literacy at Clemson University where my primary research agenda investigates how the professional learning of in-service secondary school teachers contributes toward responsive teaching practices that support the disciplinary literacy of adolescents. The goal of my research is the creation of literacy pedagogies, curricula and policies leading to more equitable learning for both teachers and adolescents.
