Description

Patented by Annette and Randy Bjorge, Coloma, MI (USPP14439) on December 30, 2003. It resulted from a cross of ‘Autumnglo’ and ‘Fayette’ peach. Originally tested as ‘FA 42’, this is a vigorous, regular bearing tree producing freestone fruits having non-browning flesh that are large, round, and firm with 75 to 80% blushed red skin color at maturity. They ripen 45 days after the maturity of ‘Redhaven’ peach. The tree is vigorous and canker resistant with exceptional hardiness in both bud and tree. The fruits are extremely flavorful with clear yellow firm flesh. Autumnstar® peaches have great shipping and storage qualities. Autumnstar® is a great way to extend your peach season.
