Reaction to Sprouting Wings

Doing this project was very enjoyable. I am glad I got to spend time with Amy Craddock and her group of helpers, because they give so much inspiration to kids. It was a privilege to see kids running around and enjoying themselves while learning at the same time. Programs like theses should encourage people to get involved at your local school and help kids succeed. It is a joy to watch kids faces light up when you interact with them. These kids need as much attention as we can give them. I think the more attention we give kids, the more successful they will be in life. Sprouting Wings is just the program to do that.

I also thought that this program was well organized. They had a tight schedule and it got the most out of the day for the kids. This is very important because you want to be able to get done with the day’s activities so you can have enough time for tomorrow’s activities. The activities for the kids were more than just games. They were science-based games so the kids had fun as well as learning something.

I think doing this project has shown me a lot about myself as well. It has shown me how fortunate I was to get the attention I needed. So if I can help by giving these kids the attention they need, then I’m all for it.
