About Programs & Services
The Charles H. Houston Center for the Study of the Black Experience in Education develops, coordinates, and assesses the effectiveness of activities designed to inform, educate, and encourage individuals in South Carolina and around the world. To achieve these goals, faculty and staff at the Charles H. Houston Center pursue the following tasks: (a) develop and implement programs, activities, and services aligned with the priorities of the Center; (b) collaborate with organizations to develop and implement programs and services; (c) collect, obtain, and analyze program evaluation data; and (d) pursue funding opportunities to develop and implement programs and services.
