Subject: Family Sick Leave
2002-2003 Appropriation Act
63.62 (BCB: Family Sick Leave) For
Fiscal Year 2002-2003, state employees who earn sick leave as provided in
Section 8-11-40
of the
1976 Code may use ten days rather than eight days of sick leave to care
for ill members of their immediate family. Immediate family is defined
as the employee's spouse and children, and the following relations to the
employee OR the spouse of the employee: mother, father, brother, sister,
grandparent, legal guardian, and grandchildren.
