Temporary
Employment
Clemson University
Human Resources has two programs designed to help Clemson departments
find experienced
help for temporary positions. The Retirees' Employment Service program, or R.E.S, places retired Clemson employees into
positions that need experienced labor quickly. TigerPool is a "pool" of
Clemson students who are looking for short-term jobs.
Both of these services are designed
to help Clemson University reach its 10-year goals approved by
the Board of Trustees on January 26, 2001. These programs strengthen
our sense of community and increase diversity. They recognize
and appreciate the distinctiveness of current students and retired
associates.
TigerPool and
R.E.S. help the hiring department and the employee
equally. A hiring
department benefits with people who are already familiar
with Clemson University. The department also receives the
highest quality labor available
for such positions. Associates in both programs find the
opportunities in different departments to be refreshing
and interesting. Associates
also enjoy the ability to go back to their normal routine
after the assignment has been completed.
