The Office of International Affairs (OIA) is led by Senior Vice Provost Dr. David W. Grigsby. OIA provides programming and services for incoming international students, faculty, staff, and visitors and for Clemson students who wish to study abroad. We work with faculty members and departments to develop study abroad programs and to establish partnerships with overseas institutions. We also strive to enhance overall campus internationalization as both Clemson and our students and faculty live, work, and study in a diverse and interconnected world.
Globalization increases our interconnected and interdependent relationships with the rest of the world. For universities, this creates new challenges and opportunities in the areas of international education, research, and service. At Clemson, we are implementing a unique strategy that links our traditional strengths in education and research to support economic development for South Carolina and, more broadly, the United States.
