International Photo Contest

Who May Enter:

Anyone who studied abroad or traveled internationally in 2007 or 2008, or is abroad currently.

What to Enter:

You may enter up to 3 photographs (1 per category) that YOU took while studying or traveling abroad.

Please submit high resolution unedited digital photographs (300 dpi at 8"x10").

Categories

  • Landscapes & the Natural World: Photos that feature the landscapes and natural wonders of your destinations.
  • People & Culture: Photos that capture the essence of the people and culture of the places that you visited.
  • Architecture: Photos that showcase the thrilling architecture (old & new) you found while abroad.

How to Enter

Complete entry information and attach photo(s).  Please submit a new form per entry. If you are having trouble viewing the form please click here, and attach the completed for to an email along with the corresponding photo.

People and Culture

Entry Deadline

All photos and entry forms must be submitted no later than midnight on Saturday, March 28th, 2009.

Voting

Current Clemson University students, faculty, and staff will vote for their favorite photographs (one per category) online via our website from Monday, April 6, 2009 – Sunday, April 19, 2009. All photographs will be displayed in the Cooper Library during International Awareness Week. Winners will be notified by email.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the first place photographs in each category and to the “Best of Show Photograph.”

The Clemson University Office of International Affairs reserves the right to use all submitted photographs on the website, in printed materials, and on other study abroad promotional materials.

The Clemson University Office of International Affairs reserves the right to deem a photograph inappropriate and/or ineligible for competition. Failure to follow the guidelines and/or falsification of information on the entry form will result in immediate disqualification from the contest and forfeit the student’s claim of any prize.
