To meet with the needs of our international population, and to ensure that you will have the opportunity to meet with an international student advisor throughout your time at Clemson, the Office of International Student and Scholar Services invites you to Open Advising.
Open Advising will allow you to meet with an international student advisor during a set period of time without the need to set an appointment. During Open Advising, walk-in advising will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Open Advising is held on:
Mondays from 9:00am to 11:30am
Tuesdays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Thursdays from 9:00am to 11:30am and 1:00pm to 4:00pm

If you have an immigration-related question and are unable to visit during these times, you may call the Office of International Affairs at 1.864.656.3614 to schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor. In addition, appointments may be set by contacting an international student advisor by email at: OIA@clemson.edu. Only in case of emergency can same day and/or walk-in appointments be accommodated.
Those holding J-1 status in the scholar or professor category should call OIA to set an appointment instead of visiting during Open Advising.
