Clemson University Libraries

Mid-Week Music Series

One Wednesday a month, come enjoy music in the lobby of Cooper Library. Students, professors, and local musicians provide a half hour of musical entertainment. Among the groups that have been featured are the CU Classical Guitar Ensemble, Take Note (the Clemson female a cappella ensemble), and the CU Steel Band.

Midweek Music is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Ronald ('64) and Mrs. Gloria Moore ('95).

All recitals take place in the lobby of Cooper Library from 12:30 - 1:00pm and are free and open to the public. Please feel free to bring your lunch.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

The 2015-16 Midweek Music series kicks off with a performance by Faculty Gone Feral, a CU faculty group that plays traditional American, Irish and French Canadian string band music on Irish button accordion (Elizabeth Adams, Women’s Studies) and fiddle (Mike Ellison, Materials Science).
