Mid-Week Music Series


One Wednesday a month, come enjoy music in the lobby of Cooper Library. Students, professors, and local musicians provide a half hour of musical entertainment. Among the groups that have been featured are the CU Classical Guitar Ensemble, Take Note (the Clemson female a cappella ensemble), and the CU Steel Band.

Midweek Music is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Ronald ('64) and Mrs. Gloria Moore ('95).

All recitals take place in the lobby of Cooper Library from 12:30 - 1:00pm and are free and open to the public. Please feel free to bring your lunch.

Wednesday, September 17
Midweek Music in Cooper Library kicks off the 2014-15 season on Wednesday, September 17 from 12:30-1pm with Faculty Gone Feral.  This CU ensemble performs traditional American, Irish and French Canadian string band music on Irish button accordion (Elizabeth Adams, Women's Studies) and fiddle (Mike Ellison, Materials Science).
