
The 2008 Clemson University Little North American is planned for Saturday April 5th at the T. Ed Garrison Livestock Arena.
This year's event has 69 students enrolled with 11 undergraduate Teaching Assistants, and 5 additional undergraduates heading up the committee dedicated to the successful production of the 2008 CU Little North American Show
Objectives of the LNA Experience:
- To learn techniques associated with the exhibition of beef, sheep, dairy, equine, poultry and swine
- To understand evaluation techniques associated with beef, sheep, dairy, equine, poultry and swine
- To find an appreciation for the importance of exhibition and evaluation of these species to the animal industries
- To gain both experience and confidence in handling one of the species
- To successfully prepare and exhibit your chosen species
- To familiarize yourself with all aspects of management related to preparing your animal for show
- To have fun and make friends
