If you are planning a visit on Clemson’s campus, you may want to begin with the Class of 1944 Visitors Center. The Visitors Center offers a variety of informational services, including guided tours, audio visuals and publications about the University and surrounding area.

Clemson University has several other sites of interests including Fort Hill. Fort Hill is the historic home of John C. Calhoun. John Caldwell Calhoun's national political career spanned 40 years from 1810 to 1850. Thomas Green Clemson, Calhoun's son-in-law and founder of the University, willed that Fort Hill "shall always be open for the inspection of visitors." This antebellum plantation home is furnished mostly with family artifacts and located in the heart of the University.
