The Walker Course
John E. Walker, Sr. Golf Course

Play Where the Tigers Play. The 18-hole
championship John E. Walker Sr. Golf Course, designed by DJ DeVictor,
serves as home for the Clemson University 2003 NCAA national champion
golf team. The course is open year
round and available for the public to play as well as for golf
outings. Group and individual rates as well as family and corporate
memberships are also available. The Walker Course is the ONLY
upstate golf course to be listed in the 25 Best Public Facilities
You Can Play in South Carolina, as voted by the South Carolina
Golf Panel and published in the Fall 2007 edition of Palmetto
Golfer, the magazine of the South Carolina Golf Association.
Designed to accommodate golfers of all skill levels, the course measures 6,911 yards in length from the tiger tees and a very playable 5,934 yards from the white tees. The last five holes, including the signature Tiger Paw 17th hole, run along the shores of Lake Hartwell and offer the most spectacular collection of finishing holes in the Southeast.
The Walker Course also features a full service driving range, a putting green, a fully stocked pro shop, the Clubhouse Grill, and a staff of PGA golf professionals on hand for group lessons, clinics and individual instruction.
Right outside your guest room, you will find the gorgeous Walker Course Greens and Bermuda fairways of the Walker Golf Course. Play a round through 18 scenic holes or spend time sharpening your skills on the practice green and driving range.
