CLEMSON — The Clemson University Alumni Association launched a new online tool to give alumni a leg up in their job searches.
Powered by Optimal Resume, the site gives alumni a place to search job postings, create a resume, practice for interviews, take skills assessments, build a professional portfolio or website, write cover letters and record a video resume.
“Based on feedback received over the course of the past year, we recognize that among the most valuable of services we can provide our alumni is career and professional networking assistance. We view this new resource to be a great tool for our alumni to use, whether they are looking for an immediate job opportunity or are just interested in networking,” said Wil Brasington, senior director of alumni relations.
The service is offered to all Clemson alumni starting one year after graduation. The Michelin Career Center provides services for alumni in the first year after graduation.
To register on the site, visit http://www.clemson.edu/alumni and click on the Career Services banner.
Employers can post job openings by clicking the same link and going to the employer section of the site. Employers can register to post jobs and search resumes that alumni have uploaded.
