CLEMSON — Kayla Bagwell of Summerville and Erica Tykal and Arden Lowndes, both of Mount Pleasant, have been recognized by the College of Business and Behavioral Science at Clemson University.
Bagwell, a business management major and daughter of Howard and Linda Bagwell, received the Management Faculty Academic Excellence Award in Human Resource Management.
Tykal received The Marketing Distinction Award for 2011. Recipients of the Marketing Distinction Award have taken and earned a 4.0 grade-point average in at least five marketing courses and have a cumulative grade-point average above 3.5.
Lowndes, a psychology major and daughter of Thomas and Tyler Lowndes, received the Richard and William Park Memorial Award. Recipients of this award have shown superior commitment to academics with a high grade-point average and have demonstrated the personal traits of courage, persistence and compassion during their careers at Clemson. Recipients also must demonstrate the potential to make a contribution to the science and profession of psychology.
