CLEMSON — Mitchell Plyler of McConnells and Patricia Trovinger and Rebecca Fulmer, both of Rock Hill, were recognized by the College of Business and Behavioral Science at Clemson University.
Plyler, a management major and son of Larry and Marsha Plyler, received the Alan D. Wheeler Management Merit Award. The award is given annually to two graduating management or industrial management majors who exemplify Col. Alan Wheeler’s dedication to scholarship and citizenship. Wheeler touched many lives in his work as a teacher, student adviser and administrator at Clemson.
Trovinger, an accounting major at Clemson and daughter of Craig and Laura Trovinger, received the Deloitte LLP Achievement Award. A cash award and certificate are presented annually to a graduate student in accounting who demonstrates outstanding potential for success in an accounting career.
Fulmer, a psychology major and daughter of Bobby and Mary Anna McGrath Fulmer, received the Eugene Galluscio Award for Undergraduate Leadership. The award is named for Eugene Galluscio, who was the psychology department chairman at Clemson from 1982 to 1997.
