Atlanta-area students recognized at Clemson University

CLEMSON, S.C. — Two Atlanta-area students received honors from the Clemson University College of Business and Behavioral Science.

Adam W. Kallal, a management major and son of Ed and Cindy Kallal of Atlanta, received the Boyd Joseph Todd Management Merit Award. The award is given annually to two graduating management or industrial management majors who embody Boyd J. Todd’s enthusiasm for scholarship and devotion to Clemson. Todd was a longtime chairman of the department of management and a Clemson alumnus. He helped form and was one of the initial faculty members of the department of industrial management. Richardson was awarded a cash gift, a certificate and a plaque.

Ryan Kantor, a marketing major and son of Keith and Karen Kantor of Suwanee, received the Marketing Distinction Award for 2011. Recipients of the Marketing Distinction Award have taken and earned a 4.0 grade-point average in at least five marketing courses and have a cumulative grade-point average above 3.5.
