Clemson alumni can stay connected with new mobile app

CLEMSON — The more than 120,000 Clemson University alumni now can be on the move with their alma mater through the new Alumni Mobile App.

“Alumni Mobile App puts a variety of Clemson alumni information, news and athletics right at your fingertips. This is a fantastic way to stay in touch with your alma mater and fellow Clemson alumni,” said Michele Cauley, marketing director of the Clemson University Alumni Association.

The Alumni Mobile App is available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, as well as Android devices. The Blackberry version will be launched soon and a web browser version also is available at clemson.edu/alumni/app/web.

The Alumni Mobile website and application offer a variety of topics and newsfeeds including:

• Events — information on current alumni activities
• News — current Clemson news from a variety of sources
• Athletics — news, scores and schedules for all Clemson Tiger varsity sports
• The Echo — the Alumni Association news and headlines mailer published every two weeks
• Clemson Ring — learn the history of the Clemson Ring or share your ring story and more
• Tracking Tigers — find out where in the world Clemson alumni are located
• Clubs and Groups — find out about Clemson Clubs and other alumni constituency groups
• Traditions — sing along with the alma mater and “Tiger Rag”
• Social Networking — catch up with other alumni, view Clemson photos, videos and more
• Contact Us — contact information for the Clemson Alumni Association
