25 staff members selected for Clemson University Staff Development Program

Published: August 3, 2011

CLEMSON — Twenty-five staff members at Clemson University have been selected for the second year of the university’s Staff Development Program (SDP).

The goal of the program is to allow staff members to grow personally and professionally while at the same time strengthening their engagement with the university. Participants must complete 150 hours of personal and professional development and university-related service. Four peer review committees oversee the process and help participants stay on track with their goals.

“We welcome these 25 new participants into the Staff Development Program and hope they are as successful as the 25 participants who completed the pilot year of the SDP,” said Wendy Howard, Staff Development Program committee chairwoman. “Not only did our first class successfully complete their requirements, but they also reported that they got so much more out of the program than they ever anticipated.”
