CLEMSON — Clemson Extension and the S.C. Department of Natural Resources will conduct alligator-hunting seminars — in Greenville Aug. 20 and Lexington County Aug. 27.
The two-hour programs will include alligator capture and handling techniques, rules and regulations, alligator hunting equipment and processing.
Interested alligator-hunting equipment manufacturers and retailers are invited to attend to display and demonstrate their equipment in conjunction with the seminars. However, neither the Department of Natural Resources nor Clemson endorses any type, brand or make of equipment. Vendors should bring their tables, setups and displays. On-premise sales are restricted at certain sites and vendor space may be limited. Vendors should pre-register with the Department of Natural Resources by calling 803-734-3886.
