Tuesdays and Thursdays
GARDEN YOGA

Renee Gahan leads Vinyasa Yoga classes, which are open to all skill levels. Students move through a series of postures focusing on the breath. Attention is paid to proper alignment, with guidance provided to develop poses. For more information, visit clemsonyoga.typepad.com.
Fee: $12 for drop-ins, $50 for a five-class pass ($35 for full-time students), $60 monthly for a pass

Friday, Jan. 20
ANIMAL TRACK TRICKSTERS

Join Garden educators Allison Jones and Kendra Vincent for an afternoon of tracking and observing woodland wildlife. We’ll find clues of wildlife in the garden and each participant will make their own animal track.
Registration is capped at 12, so sign up early. Due to curing time, tracks will be picked up after 24 hrs.
Fee: $4 per participant ($3 for members and volunteer)
Time: 3:30-5 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 23 and 30 and Feb. 6
YEAR-ROUND ORGANIC VEGETABLE GARDENING

Join education director Lisa Wagner for this three-session class on the basics of year-round kitchen gardening, including choosing cool and warm season vegetables, planning crop rotations, making the most of small spaces, succession cropping and season extension.
Fee: $35 ($30 for members and volunteers)
Time: 9-11 a.m.
Location: Hayden Conference Center

Thursday, Jan. 26, Feb. 2 and 9
VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION WORKSHOP SERIES

This free three-part series will provide an in-depth exploration of the Garden’s history, gardens, habitats and resources, age-appropriate program content and useful information about interpretive strategies and teaching techniques for adults and children.
Fee: Free for current and potential volunteers
Time: 9:30-11:30 a.m.

ART GALLERY
Featured artists: Patti Connor-Greene (ceramics) and Jessica Erin Bowers (paintings).

Visit the Fuller Galleries in the Fran Hanson Discovery Center to see a rotating collection of artwork by artisans inspired by the materials, nature and beauty of the Upstate. Up to six artists at a time, all connected to the Upstate area, showcase their work together. At least one new artist rotates into the collection each month, so there's always something new to see. Artwork ranging from paintings to ceramics, and baskets to photography, are available for sale with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the South Carolina Botanical Garden.

The Fran Hanson Discovery Center also houses a permanent display of Elizabeth Belser Fuller’s extensive collection of wildflower and nature paintings.

GEOLOGY MUSEUM
The Bob Campbell Geology Museum houses an impressive collection of more than 10,000 rocks, minerals, fossils, lapidary objects (carvings, gemstones) and artifacts (mining equipment, Native American tools). GARDEN INFORMATION
The S.C. Botanical Garden is open from dawn until dusk 365 days a year free of charge as a public service of Clemson University.

Discovery Center and Garden Gift Shop hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday–Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday
Bob Campbell Geology Museum hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday–Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday
Museum admission: $3/adults and $2/children 12 and under; free on the third weekend of every month.

The Garden is located on the Clemson University campus at the intersection of U.S. 76 and Perimeter Road. It encompasses 295 acres of display gardens, nature trails, woodlands and streams. The Garden is partially supported by the state of South Carolina via Clemson University, but relies on private funding, memberships and proceeds from educational events to continue operations.
