CLEMSON – The Clemson University chapter of Kappa Delta sorority is hosting its fourth annual Shamrock Golf and Tennis Tournament Saturday, March 3, at Cobb’s Glenn Country Club in Anderson. The tennis tournament will begin at 10 a.m., and the golf tournament will begin at noon.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Kappa Delta’s national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA). Eighty percent of the proceeds will go to the local organization, The Parenting Place, and 20 percent will go to national Prevent Child Abuse America.
The golf tournament will consist of an 18-hole shotgun start. The tennis tournament includes singles, doubles, or mixed tennis.
Registration will be $65 per golfer and $35 for tennis players. Registration will end Thursday, March 1. The fees include lunch provided by Jersey Mike’s, a t-shirt and a golf/tennis fee. Registration forms and donations are accepted on the Clemson University Kappa Delta website: www.clemsonkd.com.
The tournament also includes a silent auction for themed baskets, such as fishing, golf, tennis, Clemson tailgating, wine and the beach. Baskets are valued at $75-$100 each.
