CLEMSON — Theater sometimes asks questions that can never fully be answered and leaves audience minds to wander long after the final curtain. Such is the drama "Doubt" which will be presented by the Montana Repertory Theatre at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Clemson's Brooks Center for the Performing Arts.
Winner of a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award, John Patrick Shanley’s parable tackles faith, trust, mendacity, friendship and the church.
Set in 1964 and based in a fictional church school in the Bronx, a battle begins between Father Flynn and Sister Aloysius over a relationship between the priest and a male student, taking the audience through a stirring and complex journey to determine whose side they are truly on.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and can be purchased online, in person or by phone. Visit www.clemson.edu/Brooks or call the Box Office at 864-656-7787 from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday–Friday.
