CLEMSON — One of the world’s premiere Chinese acrobatic touring companies, the Golden Dragon Acrobats, will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, as part of the Family Series at Clemson's Brooks Center for the Performing Arts.
Created by Lien Chi Chang in 1985 and officially passed over to renowned impresario Danny Chang and choreographer Angela Chang, the group combines award-winning acrobatics, traditional dance, spectacular costumes, ancient and contemporary music and theatrical techniques to present a show of skill and beauty.
The Golden Dragon Acrobats are seven-time recipients of the National Association of Campus Activities Entertainer of the Year Award, the Campus Activities Today’s Performer of the Year Award and, most recently, two prestigious New York Drama Desk Award nominations.
Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased online, in person or by phone. Visit www.clemson.edu/Brooks or call the Box Office at 864-656-7787 from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday–Friday for more information.
