CLEMSON — Clemson University has released an updated and expanded version of its mobile app, m.Clemson, which serves as an all-in-one utility to help users connect with Clemson news, athletics, academics and everything in between.
After its initial release in 2010, the m.Clemson app gained widespread popularity among the Clemson community, and it now has more than 15,000 users. The app represents a suite of applications that provide links to Clemson news sources, athletic sites, photos, videos and more.
The latest 2.0 version is updated with features requested by students. In addition to searching for residence halls and computer labs on campus, users can now search local restaurants as well. Students can use the app to look up and contact professors or administrators directly through the campus directory. They also can search computer usage around campus to find unoccupied computers.
The most anticipated upgrade to the new app is its compatibility with Android devices. The app can now be accessed by Blackberry and Android phones as well as the iPhone and iPod Touch. Users may find the updated app on their smartphones or at m.clemson.edu. More information and links to each of the App Stores can be found at www.clemson.edu/mobile.
