Spring concerts begin in S.C. Botanical Garden

CLEMSON — The South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson University is hosting free Spring Concerts in the amphitheater at 7 p.m. Fridays from April 6 through May 11. Local artists will play everything from acoustic Americana to chamber music and Tiger Rag.

Visitors can bring a blanket or stadium chair. For more information, go to www.clemson.edu/scbg/events or call 864-656-3405.

Snacks and beverages will be sold at the Garden Gazebo during the concerts. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted.

• April 13: Christopher Branch, indie acoustic 
• April 20: CES Quintet, Clemson faculty play classical music for winds
• April 27: Tigeroar, Clemson men’s a capella group
• May 4: The Accidentally Irish Lads, acoustic folk/rock
• May 11: Tugalo Holler, bluegrass
