GREENVILLE — There are more than 180 aerospace and aviation firms in South Carolina and to help entrepreneurs make them customers the Clemson Small Business Development Center, Greenville Spartanburg Anderson Technology Council (GSATC) and Upstate SC Alliance present "Expanding Your Business in the Aerospace Industry." It will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 1 at the Embassy Suites, 670 Verdae Boulevard, Greenville.
This informational forum is designed to introduce local businesses to opportunities to expand their customer bases in the aerospace industry without having to leave South Carolina. Featured briefings from Carbures, Lockheed Martin, ADEX Machining Technologies, GKN Aerospace and more will highlight new projects and share best practices for success in this growing market. Networking and question-and-answer sessions also are planned.
The program will transition from morning sessions to a special Learning Lunch presented by GSATC at 11:30 AM. The lunch program will feature a keynote presentation from Steve Townes, president and CEO of Louis Berger Services Inc. and founder of Ranger Aerospace. A panel of industry professionals will address questions to conclude the event.
