Cotton and soybean field day coming to Clemson’s Edisto center

BLACKVILLE — Clemson University will host a Cotton and Soybean Field Day Oct. 4 at the Edisto Research and Education Center. The field day is free and open to the public.

Registration begins at 3:30 p.m. The field tour starts at 4 p.m.

Presentations during the afternoon include irrigation for cotton, weed management, cotton and soybean insect and rust management, and new variety development. The tour is scheduled to finish at 7:30 p.m.
