CLEMSON — The National Dropout Prevention Center (NDPC) has launched ENGAGE, a new online journal published in partnership with the Clemson University Digital Press. The university, home of the NDPC, works closely with the organization to increase high school graduation rates through research and evidenced-based solutions.

The free interactive journal focuses on issues about school engagement while exploring strategies that work globally. Readers around the world can share challenges and solutions through special features at one accessible location.

ENGAGE: The International Journal of Research and Practice on School Engagement compiles videos, photos, discussion blogs, researcher contributions and youth and teacher stories. Education researchers, students, teachers, administrators, parents and community members will have a voice to engage in an important discussion.

Jane Lindle, Clemson professor of educational leadership, serves as editor of ENGAGE, which will be internationally refereed and published online twice a year. The journal can be accessed at the website or downloaded in E-book form on the iPad and Kindle. Hardcopy versions of the articles are available for printing through Clemson Digital Press.
