CLEMSON — Varun Grover, the William S. Lee Distinguished Professor in Information Systems in the College of Business and Behavioral Science at Clemson University, has been ranked eighth out of 400 prominent Management Information Systems researchers by the University of Arizona’s “h-index” ranking system.
“Dr. Grover continues to impress the international community and be an inspiration to our department,” said management department chairman V Sridharan. “We are very fortunate to have Dr. Grover at Clemson. He has become one of the university’s most accomplished researchers and continues to raise the bar in terms of research productivity and excellence.”
The University of Arizona’s h-index is widely accepted as the metric that assesses the productivity and impact of a scientist or scholar. In 2012 and 2010, Grover also was ranked eighth by the h-index. The study is conducted by professors Hsinchun Chen of the University of Arizona and Paul Hu of the University of Utah.
