Dr. Askew is responsible for overall operations of Clemson Public Service and Agriculture programs, which support South Carolina agriculture and forestry industries. These include the Experiment Station, which conducts research, the Extension Service, which transfers science-based information to commercial growers and the public; Livestock-Poultry Health, which regulates animal industries; and Regulatory Services, which regulates plant industries. These programs are conducted on campus and at Research and Education Centers that represent the state's distinct soil and climate regions in Blackville, Columbia, Charleston,Florence and Georgetown.
