Saturday (April 6)

Clemson students will volunteer to help the community during the Unity Project from noon to 2 p.m. Part of the Clemson National Week of Service, students will volunteer at various nonprofit agencies, such as cleaning up at local parks, washing Clemson Area Transit buses and helping with projects at YMCA Day Camp. PHOTO OP: Army ROTC cadets at Clemson University will fly in military helicopters Saturday, April 6, as part of the spring semester field training exercise. The helicopters will begin picking up cadets for the first of several trips at 4:30 p.m. at Fant’s Grove. More than 40 cadets will learn how to establish a landing zone, board a helicopter with combat equipment and exit aircrafts to authorize security. Sunday (April 7)

Take a trip around the world on Bowman Field at the International Festival from noon to 4 p.m. Clemson’s international students will prepare food rom their native countries, and there will be music, dancing and a fashion show on stage. Kids can enjoy fun activities in the KidZone tent. For details, contact Ariel Cochrane-Brown (864-656-3174, arib@clemson.edu).

Monday (April 8)

Students and their families can participate in Clemson’s ring ceremony that takes place twice a year, once in the spring and again in the fall. It will be at 7 p.m. at Littlejohn Coliseum. For information, contact Stewart Summers (864-656-5653, summer@clemson.edu).

Tuesday (April 9)

Clemson University will celebrate undergraduate research at the eighth annual Focus on Creative Inquiry Poster Forum and interactive demonstrations at the Hendrix Student Center. Creative Inquiry is a unique program that allows students to join team-based investigations led by faculty mentors.

Wednesday (April 10)
