NSP activities build a strong community of bright, motivated students, a group of friends linked with the common goal of learning, leading and serving.
 
Upperclass scholars design and implement the New Scholar Retreat. A weekly news analysis provides in-depth conversation on current issues. A monthly book discussion is open to all scholars and focuses on classic and controversial texts, including Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged and Machiavelli’s The Prince.
 
The National Scholar community strives to be dynamic, engaged and engaging. And many activities are designed, implemented and led by the National Scholars themselves.
