Vickery Hall open for remembrance of students
Vickery Hall will be open for several evenings for reflection, remembrance, prayer and meditation to remember the fire victims and other students who died this year, including Clemson students Amy Moxie and Taylor Cox and USC student Taylor Cothran of Greenville.
The hall will be open Wednesday night immediately after the prayer vigil and from 8 to 10 p.m Thursday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Campus ministers will be available at Vickery during these times.
As a further remembrance of their sorority sister Emily, Delta Zeta will collect children's books for South Carolina First Steps, a program focused on helping young children prepare for school. Those who wish to donate may bring books to the vigil or drop them off through Nov. 9 at the fraternity and sorority life office, 602 University Union.
