Clemson Extension schedules Master Tree Farmer workshop
CLEMSON — Clemson Extension will hold a three-day workshop for landowners and persons considering land ownership who are interested in managing their land.
Master Tree Farmer: Risks and Risk Management will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on Sept. 9, 15 and 23 at nine locations across the state via satellite broadcast.
The program will concentrate on the risks associated with forest management and allow landowners and natural resource professionals to consider how they can manage woodlands by planning for the problems they may face.
Topics will include insects, diseases, drought, storms, fire, changing land uses, regulations, laws, taxes, climate, invasive plants and security.
