Littlejohn to host home and garden show

CLEMSON – Clemson University’s Littlejohn Coliseum will play host to more than 100 vendors for the annual Oconee County Homebuilders Association Home and Garden Show Feb. 29 through March 2.

Vendors will showcase products and information on everything from construction materials to loans to sinks and hot tubs. More than 3,000 people are expected to visit the show.

“We are very excited to be able to hold our fourth annual home and garden show at Littlejohn Coliseum,” said Frank Crenshaw, vice president of the Oconee County Homebuilders Association. “We chose to make this move because it is a far superior facility than what we have been in previously. It will allow us to have our entire show under one roof and in a much better-known location with easier access for both vendors and attendees. We feel that our partnership with Littlejohn will make this our most successful show ever.”

The show is open from 1 to 8 p.m. Feb. 29, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 1 and 1 to 5 p.m. March 2. Admission is $5 at the door, and anyone who brings a canned food item will receive $1 off the cost of admission. Canned goods collected will be donated to Collins Children’s Home in Seneca.

“We are extremely pleased to be hosting the Oconee County Home Builders Association Home and Garden Show. This is the first year we will have this show and are looking forward to having it for many years to come. The potential for growth both with the vendors and Clemson University is exciting,” said Meredith Merritt, an event coordinator for Littlejohn Coliseum.
