Presidential candidate John Edwards schedules Clemson appearance

CLEMSON – Former North Carolina senator and presidential candidate John Edwards will visit Clemson University at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Military Heritage Plaza.

In the event of inclement weather the event will be held in the Almeda Rogers Jacks Ballroom in the Hendrix Center.

Clemson has invited all presidential candidates to the university during the 2008 presidential election cycle.

Edwards’ visit to his native Palmetto State comes ahead of the South Carolina Democratic primary on Jan. 26.
