Clemson University police arrest student on firearm charge
CLEMSON — Clemson University police arrested Clemson freshman Timothy C. Cramer, 20, of Ridgeland, Tuesday, Jan. 15, on a charge of carrying or displaying a firearm on university property.
The 22-caliber handgun, in plain view on the floorboard of Cramer's truck, was discovered when the vehicle was illegally parked and subsequently towed from Lightsey Bridge apartments area Monday.
Cramer was arraigned and released on $5,000 personal recognizance bond.
The case is under review by the university's Office of Community and Ethical Standards.
