Littlejohn to host Tiger Paw Classic Gymnastics Invitational

CLEMSON – Clemson University’s Littlejohn Coliseum will host more than 1,000 gymnasts from around the region in the second annual Tiger Paw Classic Gymnastics Invitational Jan. 25-27.

The USA Gymnastics event is hosted by Upstate Gymnastics of Pendleton and the Clemson Sports Council. Girls will compete in USAG levels three through 10 and in more advanced pre-opt levels.

Competitions will take place at 8 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday. The pre-opt competition featuring the most advanced athletes will be at 5 p.m. Saturday. (Download pdf schedule).

Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $10 for the general public and $5 for children and Clemson University students and employees. A family pass for two adults and up to three children is available for $25. Tickets are good for the entire weekend of the competition. Parking is free.

The event will also feature vendors set up around the coliseum and a “junior gym” play area for children.
