Two Clemson University documentaries to air on SCETV
CLEMSON – Clemson University’s Video Production Services has produced two documentaries that will air on SCETV this month.
A one-hour documentary, “Tide of Change” hosted by Clemson University’s Patrick McMillan, explores the causes and consequences of massive development, particularly on the coasts and waterways. He travels from the swamps of Augusta, Ga., to the offices of Yale University to ask experts and policy makers about the problems and solutions. It airs at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 27.
McMillan is director of the Clemson University Museum of Natural Sciences and regular host of “Expeditions with Patrick McMillan.”
“Crossroads,” a 30- minute documentary based on research led by Mark Small, professor with the Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life, highlights the social impact of the Catholic Sisters in South Carolina.
The sisters established schools, hospitals and social services in the state. Now there are only 100 active sisters left in South Carolina and their average age is over 60. The program asks, “Who will continue the legacy of service when they are gone?” It airs at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 23.
Both programs were produced and directed by Elizabeth Anderson of Video Production Services at Clemson University.
