Fike Recreation Center to host Women’s Day
CLEMSON – The fourth annual Women’s Day at Clemson University’s Fike Recreation Center will be 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29.
A sampling of services and programs will be offered in concurrent sessions throughout the day, including a cycling class, massage therapy sessions, a session on pedometer use and personal fitness assessments. The day also will include a luncheon and fashion show.
The event, open to all women age 12 and up, is offered to help women become more familiar with the services and programs available at Fike said Susan Pope, director of fitness and marketing for campus recreation.
“It is a great way to jump-start a healthy lifestyle with a group of people with similar interests and needs, and it's a great value for the cost,” said Pope.
Tickets for the event are $15 for full-time students, $30 for Clemson employees and $40 for the general public. Registration is available at Fike Recreation Center and ends Monday, March 24.
