The following events are scheduled at the T. Ed Garrison Livestock Arena at Clemson University in upcoming weeks. Description:

Judging of livestock includes grading feeder steers, grading market steers, grading market hogs, keep Cull (swine and beef), market steers, breeding heifers with EPDs, breeding gilts and market swine. FFA registration is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. 4-H registration is from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The FFA contest starts at 10 a.m. and the 4-H Judging Contest starts at 11 a.m. To be in the 4-H State Livestock Judging Contest the contestant must have an enrollment card at the county office, the county office must submit a team enrollment form for the county with team members and it must be signed by the county extension agent. Description: The horse show feature top Paso Fino horses from throughout the region. Classes scheduled for professional, amateur and junior riders. The clinic on Friday evening from 7-8:30 will cover the basic horse maneuvers for trail class obstacles. The 2006 Reserve National Champion Trail Horse is scheduled to be there to demonstrate the maneuvers. Assisting in the clinic will be adult riders who have competed in the trail class at the national level. Indoor arena with food available. Host hotel for this event is the Comfort Inn of Clemson.
