Botanical Garden to hold Spring Plant Sale April 18-19

CLEMSON – Perennials, trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, native plants, shade plants and more will be for sale at the South Carolina Botanical Garden’s Spring Plant Sale on April 18 and 19.

April 18, the “Friends of the Garden” preview plant sale will run from 2:30 to 6 p.m. and there will be a wine and cheese reception for the friends. The strings ensemble will play. New members may join at the gate.

The April 19 public plant sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free.

South Carolina Botanical Garden staff, volunteers and Master Gardeners of the Foothills will be on hand to help with plant selection and garden-design ideas.

The sale is located at the South Carolina Botanical Garden Operations Area at the corner of U.S. 76 and Perimeter Road in Clemson.
