4-H scholarship fund established in memory of Jerry Munns
CLEMSON — A 4-H scholarship fund has been established in memory of meat goat producer and 4-H volunteer Jerry Munns of Honea Path.
Munns, who passed away recently, organized the Upstate meat goat producers group and raised thousands of dollars for the 4-H meat goat project. She was an extension volunteer for more than 15 years and served on the Greenville County Extension Advisory Council.
“She was an outstanding individual and a major force in the meat goat livestock industry,” said Danny Howard, Clemson extension agent in Greenville County. “If Jerry has touched someone directly or indirectly through her service and leadership, we hope they will consider making a gift in her memory.”
To make a donation, send checks payable to the Clemson University Foundation to P.O. Box 1889, Clemson, SC 29633. Be sure and write on the check “in honor of Ms. Jerry Munns.”
