Anderson County 4-H is holding a plant sale

ANDERSON — Anderson County 4-H is holding a plant sale to help support 4-H clubs in the county.

Call 864-226-1581, ext. 0, to place an order. Plants may be picked up between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily at the Anderson County Extension Office, 313 S. Towers St.

Plants include:

  • Tomatoes: $1 for Better Boy, Parks Whopper, cherry, Big Boy, Better Bush, grape, Rutgers and Celebrity.
  • Peppers: $1 for green bell, red bell, yellow bell, sweet banana, hot banana, jalapeno, cayenne
  • Cucubits: $1 for squash, cucumbers and zucchini
  • Herbs: $3 for basil, dill, cilantro and rosemary
  • Bedding plants: $3 per six-pack for begonia, petunia, Dusty Miller, dianthus, marigolds, salvia, impatiens, snapdragons, vinca and wave petunias

Checks should be made payable to Clemson University.
