Clemson Extension holds gardening and healthy cooking program April 17
CHESTER — Clemson Extension in Chester County conducts "A Taste of Spring" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 17 at the Chester County Career Center at Chester High School. The event is free; however lunch is $7 a plate.
Lunch and learn will be 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. where participants can enjoy lunch while learning about gardening and healthy cooking. Sessions include Container Gardening taught by York County Master Gardener Donna Schlegal; Cooking Up Healthy taught by Clemson Extension agent Angela Forbes; and Raised Bed Gardening taught by Clemson Extension agent Cory Tanner.
Vendors will sell flowers and other spring-related products at the event.
All proceeds will go to Chester County 4-H.
