Clemson extension to hold a turf management seminar May 9

ANDERSON — Clemson University's Cooperative Extension Service is holding a Turf Management Seminar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 9 at Southern States, 4010 S. Murray Ave., Anderson. The cost is $30, which includes lunch.

Topics will include lawn weed identification and control; spray calibration; and lawn fungus and insect identification and control. Three pesticide re-certification credits will be available.

Participants must pre-register by Wednesday, May 6, by calling the Clemson extension office in Anderson at 864-226-1581, ext. 0. Make checks payable to Clemson University and mail them to Anderson County Extension Office, 313 S. Towers St., Suite 106, Anderson, S.C. 29624.
